To set a plot to a specific type, use the command /plot set <type name>. The available plot types are listed below.
• Arena: PVP is always enabled, including friendly-fire. Town health regeneration is also disabled in these plots.
• Bank: A plot designated for the /t deposit and /t withdraw commands. (Not required on TownySaga, as these commands can be used anywhere).
• Embassy: Allows members of other towns to claim a plot within your town.
• Farm: Allows players to kill animals, and to break and place crops, leaves, and bee hives.
• Inn: Allows anyone to use a bed to set their /res spawn point. Players from nations your nation has declared as an enemy will be denied access.
• Jail: Mayors and police can use /town toggle jail <player> to send jailed residents to this plot.
• Outpost: A town claim that is separate from your main town area.
• Shop: Allows players to build and use Chest Shops.
• Wilds: A semi-protected area where natural blocks like trees, flowers, and mushrooms can be broken, but all other blocks are protected.
First, it's important to know what a plot is. In TownySaga, 1 plot = 1 chunk.
You can view chunk borders by pressing:
• F3+G on Windows
• CMD+F3+G on Mac
Then, use the command /towny map big. This will show you a list of nearby plots and a key to identify them. For example:
• A green $ indicates a plot for sale in your own town.
• A white $ indicates a plot for sale in another town.
To purchase a plot, stand on a plot that is for sale and type /plot claim.
